Elected an Artist member in 1935, lived at 14, Clyde Rd., Redland and became an active member for the next twenty years. Employed at E. S. and A Robinson and was active in our studio right up to 1950 when his health became impaired, he did however maintain his batch of paintings to our Annual Exhibition up to 1954. He became a member of the Savage Observer Squad and designed a poster for the Air Raid Precautions Committee. He was a very fine artist in water colours, oils and pastels. He died about 1961. We possess one of his framed works and about twenty Evening Sketches. (Cecil Broome)
